AÏSSA AGOSTINI

art

Born in Brussels in 1972, Christophe Agostini, alias Aïssa, worked for more than 15 years in the financial sector in Belgium before emigrating to Morocco in 2009.
He moved to Marrakech to create a garden design and construction company with talented landscapers. He ends up drawing sketches himself.

In 2015, he meets with a Sufi master in the Souss mountains, and his life turns towards spirituality. It was the start of a quest for introspection that led him to meet the great saints and healers of Morocco and India.

In 2017, he starts on painting in his office in Marrakech transformed into a workshop.
He has tried everything: acrylic, oils, pastel and charcoal on various surfaces such as canvas and paper. He can also mold clay.

Since two and a half years, he has painted more than 250 canvases and 250 works on paper, merging Sufi and Hindu traditions.
His clients are in London, Paris, Rome and Casablanca and in 2018 BNP Paribas commissioned him to produce a work of art in Paris.

Today, Aïssa lives between Marrakech, Paris and London, drawing inspiration from the energy of every place he lives in.

His art is a universe of warm and cheerful colors, symbolic beings and positive messages about humanity and its future.
